We'll be at the World Design Summit — see you there?
From October 16th to 25th, Montreal will host the World Design Summit — a global initiative to re-think the future of design, harnessing its power to address pressing global challenges across culture, society, the economy and the environment. Among 500 speakers exploring a diversity of topics, our very own Geneviève Angio-Morneau, Creative Director at GSM Project, will share our team's perspective on the value of Design for Participation.
For 10 days, 3500 industry professionals, from designers and architects to urban planners and landscape architects, will gather at the Palais des Congrès to share perspectives, foster collaboration and cross-pollinate new ideas. On October 17th between 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm, Geneviève will join a group of experts to discuss transverse approaches to design in a talk entitled “Let’s create something that changes someone”. Looking at a series of international projects we’ve worked on, she’ll share how collaboration across timezones and cultures, as well as the multidisciplinarity of our team, allow us to take on big challenges with the ultimate goal of creating exhibitions that change people’s perspectives in ways big or small.
