Overview

The award-winning Tell:scope™ is a digital telescope that offers interactive cityscape viewing from tall buildings and observation decks. GSM Project conceptualized, developed, and manufactured all the software and hardware components for this innovative telescope.

GSM Project
An innovative new telescope

The Tell:scope™ does a lot more than offer remarkable views from carefully selected vantage points. Its user-friendly touchscreen display allows visitors to select angles, zoom in on points of interest and access additional information. They can also see how the same part of the city would look at night, on a sunnier day, or even in the past! These 3D augmented reality views perfectly match the real-time view, giving the impression of truly seeing the city with new eyes.

At the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the Tell:scope™ allows visitors to interact with the incredible view by selecting angles, zooming in on points of interest and accessing additional information.

In cities
around the world

Since it was first unveiled in January 2010 on the 124th floor of the Burj Khalifa, the Tell:scope™ has been installed at the top of many of the world’s mega-tall structures, including the CN Tower in Toronto, the John Hancock Observatory in Chicago, the Canton Tower in Guangzhou, and the Macau Tower.
